Presenters:

 

            David O’Sullivan is the President of PW Trenchless Ltd, offering traditional civil construction     services and specializing in trenchless rehabilitations methods, including: pipe bursting for      water mains and sewers, and slip-lining of culverts as well as other types of large diameter             sewer systems. David is past president of NASST-BC and current director.

            George Bontus is a senior engineer with Insituform Technologies Ltd (a leading North   American company). George has extensive experience in trenchless underground infrastructure   rehabilitation. Within the trenchless technology community, George is recognized in particular           for his wide-ranging knowledge of trenchless water main rehabilitation employing a number of  different materials and methods. Mr. Bontus is also a member of the Committee for AWWA             M28 Manual of Water Supply Practices - Rehabilitation of Water Mains.

Marcus Schmieder is a senior materials testing specialist working with Metro Testing Laboratories Ltd in Burnaby. His work is focussed at the speciality testing laboratory where testing is performed in strict adherence to ASTM standards. CIPP material testing is one of the areas of his expertise.  In addition to this speciality testing, Marcus Schmieder is also leading the Metro Group in regards to non-destructive testing, vibrational analysis and structural health monitoring of bridge structures.  He has been involved in major construction projects like the John James Audubon Bridge, the Shangri-La, Fairmont Hotel, Richmond Olympic Skating Rink and others.

Marek Pawlowski is the principal engineer for M.J. Pawlowski & Associates, a consulting company    specializing in underground infrastructure condition assessment and trenchless rehabilitation   methods.
